Hello and Thanks for stopping by Bellas Babies, I used to love going into the children's clothing section of Mid Island Dept. Store, back where I grew up on the south shore of Seaford, LI, NY. As a kid, my whole family would go with my Mom for our school and play clothes. Mom shopped for all 6 of her kids there . 3 boys, 3 girls. Of course not all at the same time. She probably would have bought us the ugliest outfit to wear on the 1st day of school! :) I'm kidding. She never would have done that. My Mom was a great lady with great taste and I miss her dearly! I digress...With me being the youngest, (I had no younger sibling to dress up), the thought that someone so tiny, actually wore these adorable outfits amazed me. Back in those days, things were hard (DeJaVu all over again I have to say) I would get my sisters hand me downs. Which was great. Her clothes were kept in brand new condition and she had fantastic taste. I guess it ran in the family. This is, after I snuck them out of her room to BORROW them anyway... It would be years before I was there shopping for my own two children, who are 32 and 30 at this point. I am now a grandmother of 2 beautiful boys. It was with the birth of my 1st grandson, that I thought of opening Bellas Babies. Bella, being my beautiful long haired, red/white Husky. I loved the name for her and I wanted to keep it for my store. After all Bella does mean BEAUTIFUL in Italian. So why not do what I enjoy! Be online and sell the things I find so cute. I try to sell only the items I think the Moms of today would enjoy! And to keep it fun, educational ..what ever adjective you can think of, I put it in my site. I am always looking for different things. It is also an easier way for Moms to buy the things they want for their children, without having to pack them up and leave home to go get them. Possibly to stand in line and wait and wait, with a child you know wants nothing to do with any of it. Nor does your husband if you managed to drag him along for the ride. "Isn't there a Nascar race on right about now"? he's asking! I try to keep the prices down with today's economy, while trying to earn some extra money for myself to help towards paying my bills and trying to stay competative at the same time. One way I do this, is to NOT BE under sold. If you find the exact same item, in stock, elsewhere online for less, I'll BEAT THAT PRICE!! Just let me know! And it's a done deal!!
